Anybody and everybody who played in the world of Arda, a Rolemaster campaign that ran from 1988 til 2000, in south-central NJ (Monmouth/Ocean county). A place to reminisce, chit chat and keep in touch. Not related to Tolkien's Arda except perhaps via the game system.
Home to the Arda PBEM as well. Set 15 years after the initial campaigns completed, a 2nd generation of adventurers begin their quest for glory. Our Heroes, forming the Hands of the Light Adventuring Company, begin by assisting Viscountess Khuniya Khunya in bringing the main lens of the Southern Etherscope to Cloudreach Keep.
Later, they encounter an incursion of Scortian insurgents onto Tarnan soil. Ingwa and Donnel are briefly captured then rescued. Then, the People of the Sharp Claw, Clan of the Dark Warriors seek their help. Our heroes travelled to Telor and rescued the Hearthstone of the People from the Mystic's Tower and potential loss to the Scortian Bloodring.
Returning home, they meet a Bard and a Dancer, then travel to Cemetery Hill a place of ancient burials and current mystery. Forces of the Shadow gather but to what end? An alliance between the Lord of Shadows and the Lord of Blood. Can our heroes destroy this alliance by removing the Shadows from the field of battle?
Time becomes critical as the Dominator invades Tarn South bringing the war to Tarna proper. The Hands of the Light have now defeated two of the Five Darknesses, the magician, S'Pug Noir, and the necromancer, Jarina Lamont.
For the third - Black Oaks, a fold in the Realm of Spirits only reachable by a tower that moves through space and time. Fortunately Arda provided a key. But the key was lost... and found again. The Tower destroyed but Black Oaks and Wulgreth remain. Then finally Wulgreth is destroyed as well.
