      Hi All

Just a few queries with issues I am having. I managed to solve the issue
with enabling Band B as the correct TNC Band with trail and error.

I did see the topic yesterday regarding mapping, which reminded me of
something I have always had trouble with. Whenever I select the "pre
fetch" option it will cause the software to "pause". By this I mean it
states queued 2804\2975 tiles, and doesnt move forward. There seems to
be no internet activity apart from the APRSIS feed. Wonder if im doing
      something wrong.

DigiXForm - I have got three lines in here which I have added many
months ago, However I am sure they are wrong, as I am not actually
passing any digi traffic. I wonder if anyone can spot a mistake in this
con-fig below. I wonder if any of the Stations based in the UK have
suggestions for best practice, I find reading material for UK APRS
operations rare and hard to find.

      Thanks
      Dan

Can you post your final <RfPort> section, particularly the <OpenCmd>s
and <CloseCmd>s? Or confirm that the latest one is the one listed
below? When I get to it, I'm hoping to add pages to the Wiki for the
        various setups.

There's a pregnant pause before it throws up the information box that
you mention while it tries to figure out how many tiles it needs versus
how many tiles are already in the cache. When you clear the
confirmation, all of the needed tiles are queued for fetching. There
should be a (really tiny at first) yellow circle that will expand out to
the range circle as the queue is worked off. This is the tile fetcher
progress indicator. You can also double-click any empty map section and
see the current state of the tile fetcher queue and threads.

If you're using pre-fetch, you'll want to remember to disable the purger
        (http://aprsisce.wikidot.com/moving-osmtiles) or your tiles will
        disappear after a while.

http://aprsisce.wikidot.com/digipeating is the Wiki page on digipeating
and <DigiXForm>. These elements only work OUTSIDE of any RfPort at this
time. In some future revision, they'll be port-specific (hence the
placeholder), but for now, it's the global set that count. So, if you
move your set of three outside of the RfPort and replace the commented
one that's outside of that/those element(s), you should start digipeating.

As far as I know, the UK and EU has adopted the "new paradigm" WIDEn-N,
so your lines look right if you've got a good RF placement and want to
run a WIDE2 digi. If you don't have large coverage, and only want to
run a WIDE1 fill-in (which is what I run off 20' of my tower), just keep
the first line (but I suspect you already understood that part).
