Packets received through the TEXT port can be sent upstream to the internet servers. The data received will not be sent out an RF port.

      KISS mode talks to TNCs.

      Subject: [aprsisce] Comport mode

      Hello All,

I am stil working on my SoundDoppler Radio Direction software

And playing a lot with APRSIS32.

I wonder what does the Text mode do
when you create a new port for seriel input.

I suppose that Kiss is Kiss mode so with shifted CallSigns
      and a CRC

But Text is that just plain ascii APRS frame ?

And CWOP that supposed to be a wheater station
But is that also a plain text file input

      Like Ctrl-P in APRSIS32

Hope to hear from you guys.
