Perhaps I should have said "my preference" was for the client ot place
the TNC in KISS mode and take it out afterwards, instead of saying
"my recommendation". It's really whatever works for the user, but
personally, I would find it pretty annoying on a laptop without a proper
numeric keypad if I had to manually take it out of KISS mode every time
I wanted to use the TNC for something else. For a TNC that never does
anything but KISS mode with one application, it doesn't really matter.
As long as it's easy for the user.
