SPECIAL - would CENTER the map on the symbol
PRIORITY - would CENTER and ZOOM to 8 mile local range scale
EMERGENCY- CENTER and ZOOM and ALARM beeps until cleared by operator.
See the Configure / Mic-E Notifications cascade menu. In the

Msg = Send an internal message highlighting the status (Bob's
Center - too intrusive IMHO)
New = Open a new MultiTrack when first received (Bob's Center
Active = Ensure that a MultiTrack is open every time the status is
Flash = Open a new MultiTrack and FLASH the window (Bob's Center
& Zoom & Alarm)
The color is the border of the station transmitting that
particular Mic-E (or extended) status.
You'll note that I have the Special disabled because there's way
too many people that think they're "special" (68 Special vs 3
Priority out of 2153 Mic-Es in the past 2 hours) and Kenwood
doesn't provide any assistance to warn people as to what their
choices mean to viewers.
