Never mind.  I see my stupid bug....

I'm gating (unknown stations and not ME,) OR stations not heard via RF OR stations heard non-locally (too many hops).

That should be (unknown stations and not ME) AND (not heard via RF OR heard non-locally).

Fix will be coming out as soon as I beef up the diagnostics anyway.

Are you SURE your IGate had heard N2FSD-1 via RF before it processed this packet from the -IS?  I realize it has heard it since, but did it hear it before?

I'm going to build in an additional information diagnostic into the IGate logic that shows the key values for the station being gated from -IS to RF, as APRSISCE/32 sees them at the moment.

Nothing  but the Control-I IGate(Filter) will show you what would actually get transmitted, so make sure you've promoted the FilterTest to that level.

That was from the Filter Test. Don't want to put anything on RF that doesn't need to be.

I've applied the following to the IGate Filter

      d/TCPIP +t/p +a/42.63/-076.72/42.26/-076.24

Will let it run for a while and see what I get.

Enabled Logs, DX, Filtertest, IGate(Filter), QRU, Transmit.

Will let it run for an hour or so and post results.

I hope you're looking at the IGate(Filter) trace log and not FilterTest.  FilterTest shows what hits the filter.  IGate(Filter) shows what hits the filter AND what actually gets transmitted after the additional conditions of duplicate packets and heard via RF get applied.

And make sure your Transmit log is enabled as well as that is the final knowledge of what is being queued for where (IS, RF, both, or Internal).

It looks like it's still hitting on the TCPIP reception of stations also heard on RF

That is all from right after a restart. I disabled the filter test after I was sure that N2FSD-1 had been heard via RF (see Attatchment) and let it run with the following.

Verified that filters for -IS to RF IGating will not (at least, should
not) gate a station that was recently heard locally on RF (same
definitions as for gating messages from -IS to RF).
