Right now my plan is to keep using Aperture - I have a MacPro that runs 10.7.5 and the old Aperture 3.4+ and a newer iMac with Aperture 3.5.1 on it = I figure

I think its been a great app and I am looking forward to what Apple is doing with the new app. It seems to me they are taking the best of iPhoto and Aperture

Let's not overreact too much. I too have purchased a lot of Apple hardware, but I didn't only purchase it to run Aperture, nor is that hardware now rendered

Apple never invested the resources it need to make Aperture what it should have been. Its like they gave up on the product the day it was released. I have

Yea, many of us are The only good point is that Apple has at least given us a roadmap - which they rarely do. I’m sad but willing to keep using aperture
