No anthro-Spielberg movies for my kids!
- On the WC list, Diana Winters quotes me from
"Well, remember what happened when Steven Spielberg's gremlins became
exposed to direct sunlight. Puff! and they were no more. Which reminds me:
Who forgot never ever ever to feed Waldorf Critics after midnight?"
Nicole Foss opines:
"Reading this sort of thing (and much else at the anthroposophy_today list)
makes me eternally grateful that my children no longer attend a school run
by anthroposophists. I heartily agree with Diana that this kind of
'spirituality' is something to be avoided."
Steven Spielberg's first movie was "Jaws." The mechanical shark is also
comparable to PLANS because it was so clumsily constructed that they feared
people would laugh at the preview. I agree with Nicole: This is not for
kids. It will only give them nightmares.
"The worst readers are those who proceed like plundering soldiers:
they pick up a few things they use, soil and confuse the rest,
and blaspheme the whole." - Friedrich Nietzsche, Mixed Opinions and Maxims
