What follows is the real tale of the two houses tagged onto my first
attempt to see how the tale, I attempted to tell, was really written
between the Bush and the JFK..John Kerry/Kennedy houses. One can
smell the betrayals and the ancient karma under all this. A tighter
story follows that reflects some of the mighty dynastic battles that
the country is engaged in during this election. Luckily Thought and
Intuition are living realities in the world, we think therefore we
        have the communion of humanity.

"None of this is conservative, although it is in keeping with the
Bush family's history. Kevin Phillips...describes in his American
Dynasty the Bush family's rise to wealth and power through crony
capitalism: the use of contacts obtained in public service for
private profit. Phillips argues the Bushes don't disfavor big
government as such: merely that part of it that regulates business,
maintains the environment or aids the needy. Subsidizing oil-well
drilling through tax breaks, which made George H. W. Bush's fortune,
or bailing out financial institutions, such as Neil Bush's bankrupt
Silverado Savings and Loan, however, is a good thing."

And their Sons carried on the feud and their houses stood against
each other. Who would hold the power of the dynasty? Would the
Boston, Haaarvaard Kennedy dynasty and the torch be handed to
Intelligence, cosmopolitan and higher Euro and transcendental
values? The Long faced, melancholic, tall and slightly phlegmatic
Kerry and the Sanguine, sharp Edwards..pretty boy.. and both using
their human wits.. not hired guns from Ahriman's dark caverns.

Or would the House of Bush, C.I.A. infected, Oil hungery Texas with
each Son raging for the blood of a Kennedy continue their cruel
henchmen drive for another four years. Imagine the horror, the
egotism, what if Hebert and W were defeated in only four and other,
lesser men had 8, eight years..Oh the horrible hunger.

We are not afraid of terrorists, we are afraid of what Dark Bush
Dynasty will do when the smell defeat. If it smells like a Kennedy,
even with the name of Kerry, with a running mate who looks like a
bright Robert Kennedy it threatens the entire Dynasty of the Karl
Rove machine. And there is no extent of evil, machination or terror
that they will not stoop to create for fear of losing their bid for
power. And that is our terror threat.. That is our terror threat.
That is our terror threat and you are ghastly fools to think
        otherwise.

heart. The Prince arrives at this point—along with the Montague and
Capulet parents—demanding to know what has happened. Friar Laurence
relates the tragic tale of Romeo and Juliet's secret marriage; the
Montagues and Capulets, when faced with the terrible price that
their feud has exacted, vow to put an end to the enmity between the
        two houses."

Bush and Kennedy as the Montagues and Capulets have a running blood
feud and we are all a part of it."

"Summoning up all of his political energy and strength, Ted Kennedy
has put together the Democratic ticket to defeat George W. Bush and
restore the Kennedy dynasty through a surrogate. Without Kennedy,
John Kerry would be nowhere, his campaign a disaster. It was Kennedy
who told him to fire his campaign manager and take on Mary Beth
Cahill from Kennedy's own staff as the replacement. Then, he brought
the entire Massachusetts congressional delegation into Iowa to pull
out a victory, deflating Howard Dean and Richard Gephardt. John
Edwards came in a strong second, which is also what Kennedy wanted.
The man who would be king thus has settled on being the kingmaker.

Both Kerry and Edwards say that it was John F. Kennedy who inspired
them to go into politics. Ted Kennedy knows this. And he also knows
that his late brother was going to dump Lyndon Johnson and replace
him with Terry Sanford, the governor of North Carolina, who was the
shining light of what was called the "new south." Had this happened,
the country might have avoided the Vietnam War and the backlash that
led to the resurgence of Richard Nixon and, ultimately, the triumph
of Ronald Reagan. Now, in the twilight of his own career, Ted
Kennedy sees a similar situation. If Bush is reelected, preemptive
war, unilateralism and hegemony will continue as the basic
components of American foreign policy. "The only thing we have to
fear is four more years of Bush, " Kennedy bellows.

Kennedy rightly sees John Kerry as the Kennedy surrogate (his
initials are JFK) and Edwards, the rising star of the Democratic
Party from North Carolina, as the Terry Sanford surrogate. And with
Kennedy as the ranking Democrat on the Senate Labor Committee, which
he is likely to chair again as control of the Senate could easily
shift, Sweeny and the Union Leaders (they sound like a Seventies
rock group) were not going to buck him and back Gephardt. They
pulled the plug, and Gephardt, of the old Hubert Humphrey wing of
the Democratic Party which had never accepted the Kennedy leadership
of the Democratic party, was sunk. This was settling old scores with
the Humphrey camp, going back to Humphrey's challenge to Kennedy in
1960, and his role as Johnson's vice president, a position Robert
        Kennedy had coveted.

Likewise, the pulling of the plug on Howard Dean settled old scores
with the Eugene McCarthy wing of the Democratic Party that had
rallied to the Vermont doctor. Had McCarthy not run, the coast would
have been clear for Bobby Kennedy without the chaotic primary season
        that ended with his assassination.

In the general election, the final score to be settled is with Dick
Cheney and the Neo-Cons, that cult group with the one big hit, "It's
the Same Old Song." Most of these characters are Scoop Jackson
leftovers, bearing the old grudge dating from JFK's rejection of
Jackson for the vice presidential nomination in favor of Johnson.
Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz are former Jackson acolytes who
found a home in the neo-con movement, social democrats who favor
military action before diplomacy and who accuse the Democrats of
being soft on terrorism. They will tell you that Kennedy sold out
Laos, making the Vietnam War inevitable. Back with them is that
unforgettable act, The Committee on the Present Danger, starring Max
Kampelman and Jeanne Kirkpatrick, last seen in public playing the
        Cold War Café.

The Kennedy argument is that JFK was right in Laos. And that Bush
and the neo-con Jacksonite heretics are a threat to the entire
western Imperium. Just as Kennedy waged the Cold War with an appeal
to idealism, so Kerry and Edwards will wage the war against the
Jihad insurrection by offering an inspirational vision of the
future. Once more, the Peace Corps will be pushed to center stage as
representing what America stands for, even as Kerry attempts to run
to the right of Bush. The liberal façade of the empire, it is
argued, is the best way to fight terror, as Paul Berman insists. In
1960, JFK and the Missile Gap, a liberal group, pretended to be to
the right of Nixon, saying they, not the Republicans, knew how to
fight Communism and the Soviets. Nixon was the guy they threw rotten
eggs at in Venezuela. Bobby Kennedy was the guy African students
cheered and hoisted on their shoulders when he spoke to them.
Now, "W" is Nixon, who had his Michael Moore in Emile D'Antonio.

But what this is ultimately about is the America version of the War
of the Roses, the House of Bush versus the House of Kennedy. Kennedy
even compared Bush to King George III in his speech to the
convention, so ingrained is the royal metaphor in his mind. That
George W. Bush was able to succeed his father, with Bill Clinton,
the ersatz Kennedy in between, has been too much to take for the
last representative of a dynasty that was defeated not at the polls
but through assassination. Kennedy's own run against Jimmy Carter,
propelled by what was perceived as Carter's hostility towards
Israel, made Ronald Reagan possible. But Carter had to go, just as
Hillary Clinton, the heir to another potential dynasty, must be
preempted from becoming president. No, before he steps down, Ted
Kennedy is determined to see the new JFK in the White Housie and
John Edwards safely installed as the next in line. This is the final
battle, with Ohio set out as Bosworth Field ("A vote! A vote! My
kingdom for a vote!) There, Kennedy will pull out all the stops in
his last effort to see the Democratic Party in the Kennedy image
back in power for the duration.

The vilified George W. Bush is set in the role of Richard III, an
imposter and villain who will stop at nothing to gain and keep
power. Michael Moore is the Shakespeare of the Democrats,
compounding the myth that Bush is the personification of evil, much
as Shakespeare portrayed Richard. The list of Republicans and
military brass abandoning Bush is growing, just as Richard's allies
betrayed him. Even Kevin Phillips, the architect of Nixon's southern
strategy, now says Bush and his entire family are corrupt and must
be banished. He has gone so far as to offer a new southern strategy
for the Democrats to put the liberals in power. If Kennedy has his
way in November, history will be reversed, with the liberals, led by
the Kennedy wing of the Democratic Party, triumphant.

Panic has started to set in, as the GOP begins to realize that they
are saddled with a ticket that could sink, leaving Karl Rove and the
Hacks searching for gigs in the boondocks. All that patronage, gone.
All the power, the perks, vanished, with the old nemesis back on
top. This is the power struggle that characterizes all nation states
and will continue long after these players have strutted and fretted
their hour upon the stage. It has nothing to do with ideology, as
Wordsworth knew. As he wrote in Rob Roy's Grave, "For why. Because
the good old rule sufficeth them, the simple plan,/That those should
take who have the power,/And those should keep who can."

          Just Cut Out Their Tongues
          by Thom Hartmann

          http://www.commondreams.org/views04/0920-15.htm

The CBS/Rather/Bush/Guard affair - regardless of how it ultimately
turns out - has brilliantly deflected the issue of George W. Bush
having strings pulled to get him into the Guard, and then not
fulfilling his service requirements. Anytime the issue is raised in
the future - regardless of facts or context - partisan Republicans
will simply dismiss it by saying, "Those documents were forged."
That four-word sound byte will be remembered long after the details
of Bush's failures have dimmed from popular memory. Politically, it
          was a masterstroke.

And not only does it hurt Bush family enemy Kerry, but also gets
back at Bush family enemy Dan Rather, against whom they've nursed a
          16-year grudge.

The Bush family's hostility to Rather first broke the surface of
public attention back in 1988, when Vice President George H.W. Bush
was confronted on network television about his various roles in the
criminal affair now known as Iran/Contra. At the time, rumors were
flying that in the fall of 1980 then-VP-candidate Bush had
negotiated with Iran to hold the American hostages until after the
election. The hostages were not only held throughout the election
campaign, but were released the very hour Ronald Reagan was sworn
into office. The ongoing dragged-out hostage crisis (and Carter's
failed attempt at rescue) had knocked the incumbent president down
so far in the polls that the long-shot ticket of Reagan/Bush won.

When it later came out, in part because of an investigation started
by Senator John Kerry, that after the 1980 election Reagan/Bush were
illegally selling American missiles to the Iranians "in exchange for
hostages" at a time there were no hostages (the Iranian hostages had
been freed, and the Lebanese hostages not yet taken), speculation
intensified. The key to busting the whole deal open and indicting
George H.W. Bush, some congressional investigators believed, would
be Bill Casey. As the manager of the 1980 Reagan/Bush campaign, he
would have known of the deal, and persistent allegations floated
around Washington that he'd even helped organize the initial
negotiations between Bush and Iranian representatives.

When Reagan/Bush took the White house, they elevated campaign
manager Casey to the role of Director of the CIA. And the
congressional committees looking into Iran/Contra so wanted to talk
with Casey that they took the rare step of subpoenaing a sitting
          head of the CIA.

As White House insider Barbara Honegger wrote in her groundbreaking
book "October Surprise," Casey "reportedly attended meetings in
Paris, France, on October 19 and 20, 1980, with Iranian officials
and agents of French intelligence to arrange an arms-for-hostages-
delay deal with Iran. The morning of his first scheduled under-oath
testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee on the secret
Iran initiative he was struck by seizures in his CIA headquarters
office in Langley, Virginia, and underwent speech-incapacitating
left-brain surgery shortly thereafter. Had he lived to testify,
according to life-long friend and counsel Milton Gould, Casey would
have told the 'entire truth.' He died on May 6, 1987."

Since the left temporal lobe of the brain - "Broca's region" -
controls speech, some "conspiracy minded" folks suggested at the
time that this was simply a hi-tech version of the mob cutting out
          an informer's tongue.

Six months after Casey was silenced, on January 25, 1988 in a CBS
broadcast, Dan Rather cornered Vice President George H.W. Bush about
the whole Iran issue, and Bush became furious. Barely able to speak,
his face twisted with rage, Bush blurted out: "It's not fair to
judge my whole career by a rehash on Iran. How would you like it if
I judged your career by those seven minutes when you walked off the
set in New York?" Bush's voice was cracking with hysteria as he
          added, "Would you like that?"

Dan Rather has been on the Bush family enemies list ever since. But
          he's not alone.

Another member of the Bush family enemies list is Senator John
Kerry, who opened the precursor to the Iran-Contra investigations,
which brought about the demand for Casey's testimony. Kerry then led
inquiries into the Bank of Commerce and Credit International (BCCI),
which broke open a tangled web that included organized crime,
international terrorists, and members of both the Bush family and
          the Bin Laden family.

Indeed, as The Wall Street Journal noted in a front page story on
December 6, 1991 ("Family Ties: How Oil Firm Linked To a Son of Bush
Won Bahrain Drilling Pact"/"Harken Energy Had a Web Of Mideast
Connections; In the Background: BCCI" by Thomas Petzinger Jr., Peter
Truell And Jill Abramson): "The mosaic of BCCI connections
surrounding Harken Energy may prove nothing more than how ubiquitous
the rogue bank's ties were. But the number of BCCI-connected people
who had dealings with Harken -- all since George W. Bush came on
board -- likewise raises the question of whether they mask an effort
to cozy up to a presidential son."

This all came into the open because of the tenacious efforts of
former prosecutor and U.S. Senator John Kerry. As David Corn noted
in an article first published in The Nation: "In the fall of 1992
Kerry released a report on the BCCI affair. It blasted everyone:
Justice, Treasury, US Customs, the Federal Reserve, [Democrats]
Clifford and Altman (for participating in 'some of BCCI's
deceptions'), high-level lobbyists and fixers, and the CIA. The
report noted that after the CIA knew the bank was 'a fundamentally
corrupt criminal enterprise, it continued to use both BCCI and First
American...for CIA operations.' The report was, in a sense, an
indictment of Washington cronyism. In the years since, there's been
          nothing like it."

Which brings us to what may be the most recent Bush family political
          dirty trick.

Back during the years when BCCI and the Bin Ladens were helping prop
up one of George W. Bush's failing oil businesses, Karl Rove was
perfecting the art of using misdirection to win political campaigns.
James Moore and Wayne Slater, who wrote "Bush's Brain" - the
unauthorized biography of Rove - noted that when Rove ran Bill
Clements' campaign in Texas in 1986, he is alleged to have bugged
his own office to distract voters from the real issues of the
campaigns. "Who bugged Rove?" became the big story in the news for
weeks, pushing other issues off the front page (and implying that
Rove and his candidate were the victims of dirty tricks). Rove's
          candidate won an upset victory.

Others have suggested - although there is no clear evidence one way
or the other - that Rove was behind the appearance in the Gore
campaign of Bush's debate prep notes. Had Bush "lost" the debates in
a big way, the issue could have been deftly shifted to the Gore
campaign having had advance copies of his notes.

Perhaps it's a short leap from bugging your own office, to planting
debate prep materials with your opponent, to placing phony documents
          to kill an issue.

For example, Robert Sam Anson points out in a September 16, 2004
article in The New York Observer that, "Mr. Rather's report hadn't
been over 10 minutes when a post appeared on the right-wing Web site
FreeRepublic.com from 'TankerKC,' saying the documents were 'not in
the style that we used when I came into the USAF . can we get a copy
          of those memos?'"

This was followed in a few hours by a detailed typographic analysis
from another blogger named "Buckhead" - even though the typography
had only been shown on television, not exactly a medium conducive to
          examining typographic nuance.

The blog site that "broke" the story of the alleged forgery of the
documents Dan Rather had shown the world was, to quote Robert Sam
          Anson, "the repository for anti-Jew, anti-Catholic, anti-homosexual,
anti-John Kerry rants by Jerome R. Corsi, Ph.D."

For some, the name may sound familiar. As Anson continues: "And
whom, you ask, is Dr. Corsi? Co-author of the best-selling 'Unfit
for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry,'
          that's who."

And now we learn from CBS that "Buckhead" - the blogger who posted
to Corsi's website detailed information about the memos' typography
just 3 hours after the story had aired on CBS - wasn't a typesetter
or typographer at all. Instead, he's a lawyer, Harry MacDougald, who
the LA Times notes, has "strong ties to conservative Republican
causes who had helped draft the petition urging the Arkansas Supreme
Court to disbar President Clinton after the Monica S. Lewinsky
scandal" and has connections, at least institutionally, to Ken Starr
          and other senior Republicans.

Most recently, it's been reported by The New York Times that the
Texas man who may have passed the documents along to Dan Rather was
Texas Air National Guard senior advisor and former Lt. Colonel Bill
          Burkett.

In February of 2004, USA Today reported Burkett claimed to have
witnessed and overheard senior Guard officers working to do a
thorough "cleansing" of George W. Bush's National Guard records for
a biography Karen Hughes was writing before his last run for
president. If true, Burkett - another Bush family enemy - is now on
the short list of potential fall guys in this case.

It's enough to make you wonder who's next on the schedule for

Brotherhood of humanity. MY opinion of Washington movers and shakers
is that they are nothing but a slimy morass of creepy infected two
party system Goneril and Regan's or as we have defined accurately
here, Luciferic and Ahriman twisted soul wreckage giddy in election
          drool and puddles of power.

But to be a spin Meister and reward or hold back the much coveted
public exposure and rewards like Karl Rove manages for the Bush
Administration, is to keep the giant waters of the public eye, the
medium is the massage, looking at diversions instead of real issues.
Imagine having the ability to call for FBI investigations or divert
them away by having a whole Nation of secrets and liars who want in.

Media bounty hunters are tossed beggars bones and the Lodge Podge
operators, in particular, the Goethean observation of Lodge Podge
directives can be studied in our time with great interest. The
brilliant tactics of diversion can be studied in the concentrated
diversions and spin of the Karl Rove machine. He is Ahrimanically
inspired at what he does and he taps this one or that one and they
jump in front of the cameras, and someone like Kerry says something
sincere and true and Rove diverts it brilliantly in this direction
or that. It is an amazing study and opportunity to see the Lodge
Podge in the most intense action delivering compressed diversions as
the election cycle comes to a head."
