The world is one; there are other worlds but they are one.
Each person is a citizen of all the worlds, which are one.
Each person is like one of the worlds: lives and dies,
but goes on living as long as the worlds
which are one go on living.
Each person sees in himself a world, a microcosm
of the world in the universe in which he lives.
He sees it only inside, with his spiritual eye.
He must look and this is how he looks:
He concentrates on another person,
on the other person's actions and body.
He sees what the other person looks like
and observes the other person's actions.
It cannot be any person.
It must be the person with whom he is predestined
to go two by two in the world.
He looks and sees in this person a world
like one of the worlds in space.
He knows that if this world exists -
and it must exist if the person exists -
he must also exist because he looks at the sky
and sees not only one star, but many.
One of those stars is the symbol of the person observed.
Then he sees the nearest star to it.
This is the symbol of himself.
He knows now that he is part of the world
and the world is composed of many worlds,
which are one and the force that holds
the whole together is love divine love.
Human love the love he feels for the person observed -
is a dim reflection of that divine love.
It is love diluted by the egoistic drives natural to it.
His goal, her goal is to advance, to develop human love
to the approximation of divine love.
