- I'm usually reticent about this type of public media- (and medium-)personalities, but my personal take on Sylvia Browne is that she's a phony. I can't tell whether she's self-deluded or a con, but the crucial point is that what she's about has nothing whatsoever to do with spiritual science. And I don't agree that she's an interesting study. On the contrary, she began to bore me rather quickly.
It should be a big giveaway that she's doing magical psychic tricks for fame and profit, tabloid occultism as a business. Not my cup of tea.
The age of gurus and prophets is over, and the cultivation of such leaders is anachronistic. Don't follow leaders, watch the parking meters, and do your own research. I'm completely on the side of the skeptics with regard to this particular character and her ilk.
