174. The human being is spiritually-physically organized from two sides. Firstly from the physical-etheric cosmos. What streams into this organization from the divine-spiritual essence lives in it as the forces of sense perception, the capacity for memory and imaginative activity.
175. Secondly man is organized according to his previous earth lives. This organization is completely soul-spiritual and lives in him through his astral body and his I. What lives as divine-spiritual essence in this human essence radiates as the voice of conscience and everything associated with it.
176. In his rhythmic organization man has the continuous unifying of the two sides by divine-spiritual impulses. By the experiencing of rhythm the force of memory is carried to the will, and the power of conscience into the realm of ideas.
