Guidelines - 165 - 167
- 165. Man lives as a thinking being in the earth's domain; However, he does not enter into commonality with it. As spirit-being he lives in such as way that he perceives what is physical; but he receives the forces for thinking from the "spiritual earth", in the same way in which he experiences destiny as the result of previous earth lives.
166. What in remembrance (memories) is experienced is already in the world where the physical becomes half-spiritual in rhythm and where such spirit-processes take place as those which occur through Michael in the present cosmic moment.
167. Whoever learns to know thinking and remembering correctly understands how man as an earthly being lives within the earthly realm, but does not entirely submerge his being into this realm; but as an outer-earthly being seeks his self-consciousness, as the consummation of his I, through commonality with the "spiritual earth".
