      The verse in movement:t

Prologue and epilogue week 01 Or how to breathe before and after the verse:

There are four eurythmists on the stage, four aspects of the mantra.

They are dressed in white, they move as a white colour does.

      ·        Surrounding them is a colour; they move their feelings according to that colour;

      1:  red,

      2: blue,

      3: green,

      4: lilac.

      ·        They move in the mood of different sounds of the alphabet, in a sequence:

      1: I / U / O / E / A,

      2: A / E / O / U / I

      3: O / U /I /A/ E,

      4: U / E / A/ I /U.

*The vowel sounds are as in the original German so in English A is [Ah], E is [Eh], I is [ee], O is [oh] and U is [oo].

      ·        1 and 2 do a first form while 3 and 4 stand.

      ·        They all do a second form.

The epilogue choreography is done in the same way as the prologue.

The Verse: The choreography is done in two parts, on the same pattern as the stage lights, BUT

      1 and 2 do a first form while 3 and 4 stand,

      Es spricht zum Weltenall,

      Sich selbst vergessend

THEN they all do the second form.

      Und seines Urstands eingedenk,

      Des Menschen wachsend Ich:

THEN for the second stage ligth part:

       1 and 2 do a first form while 3 and 4 stand,

      In dir, befreiend mich

      Aus meiner Eigenheiten Fessel,

AND they all do the second form.

      Ergründe ich mein echtes Wesen.

[I give the original text as the cut of the stanza varies in translation.]

      Yours,    Franky
