Group Description

The purpose of this Special Interest Group (SIG) of American Mensa, Ltd. is to construct a single, comprehensive, and non-partisan agenda comprising solutions to all the political, economic, and social problems facing America today.

The Question currently being addressed by the SIG is:

QUESTION 123: What information or skills or values will we want to teach in each of the subjects in each of the disciplines at the primary level, and how much time do we expect the teaching to take under ordinary conditions?

Any Mensa member who wishes to become a member of this group should please send an e-mail to MaestroJCE@yahoo.com, with your full name and Mensa membership number.

There are 3 other groups working on this same project independently, two in the Los Angeles area (one primarily for Mensans, the other primarily for non-Mensans) which meet in person, and one (for non-L.A. folks not members of Mensa) to operate electronically. Send an e-mail to MaestroJCE@yahoo.com if interested in any of these. The results of all 4 groups will be combined and reconciled into a 'master agenda', which is what we'll ultimately take out to the general public and the political community.

Membership and participation in these groups are free, except that we are asking you to contribute your insights and ideas toward a model that can actually help the world around us!!

DISCLAIMER: Any opinions expressed within our SIG's messages and documents are those of the individual authors only, or possibly of the SIG collectively. Any such statements do not constitute opinions of the Mensa organization, which has no opinions.
