Kirstie Knowles needs help with Anole Project.......thought I would get
      this out to the experts....

      Hi,

I am a non-specialist who would like to find out more about Anolis lilzards
in the Bahamas. I am currently the chief scientist for a marine project on
the island of Andros as part of the non-profit, UK-based research
      organisation Greenforce (www.greenforce.org).
When we are land bound due to the weather we have been looking into a
number of "mini-projects", one of which is species abundance and
distribution of lizards here, particularly Anolis lizards. Like I said, we
are non-experts and only have web-based info to help us. I am particularly
keen on getting a reference for lizard identification as we are experience
some confusion, e.g. the Brown Anole v. the Cuban Brown Anole and the Green
      v. twig anole. Help!!!!!!
Any recommendations or suggestions would be most appreciated! Also, we seem
to have loads of young anole's at the minute. Is this their breeding season?
      Kind regards,
      Your sincerely,
      Kirstie Knowles

        Hi, Kirstie Knowles

You might want to contact Fr.Alejandro Munoz. He probably has
the most detailed pictures and information on anoles in the
Carribean. He's a member of this group, too.
