Here is Andy talking to all his fans in his Facebook page: Hi, I am Andy Garcia and thanks for visiting this page, and we have something, I have been asked to say, that I am really eager to say because we have this movie City Island that we are also excited. We are having an extraordinary catharsis and audiences are coming to see this movie. For me, it has been a great experience seeing how much enjoyment people are finding in this emotional but quirky family, I guess comedy would call it, I appreciate your support and also encourage you to come to see this movie because I can almost say that we can guarantee that you would come out exhausted with laughter. It opens on March 19th in the theaters and I think it expands to other cities after that. March 19th in LA and New York and other cities the following weeks but I appreciate your support and I hope I see you out there.

Andy is working in a movie called Hemingway and Fuentes,. Anthony Hopkins will play Hemingway and Andy will play Fuentes who is the captain of the fishing boat. Andy has co-written the script and will direct the movie as well. Andy received a special award at the Guadalajara Film Festival in Mexico and gave an acting masterclass on Saturday March 3rd 2012. The Lost City was shown in that film festival.
Andy will be starring with Dakota Fanning in Admissions which will be filming in Oxford Mississippi soon.
