Good post, however all the facts are not included. Gasper Corte-Real was a cod fisherman and the oldest son of Josh Corte-Real. He was on a fishing trip with his brother Michael when he sailed his ship west to the cod fishing grounds near Newport RI. His father had been in the area in 1472 which is the likely building date of the Newport Tower for the purpose of processing cod fish for sail in Europe. When Gasper did not return from the new world his brother Michael went to look for him in 1502. He also met his fate in the new world in 1510 as explained on Dighton rock. Artifacts found in a cave in NY are likely the navigational lodestone compass used by the Corte-Reals. In a box was the tools of a cartographer and a lodestone compass. The compass was missing the lodestone, however it was found in NH and is called The Mystery Stone of NH. The mystery stone has many carvings which explain the inland voyage to Minn. by the Corte-Reals in 1472. Mr. Ballah (Museum Curator) has been given the facts that explain the mystery stone and one very much like it which is in Bermuda. Along with the cartographors tools found in NY is a small map on a copper disc which shows the complete east coast of the USA. Two additional small copper plates explain the fate of the group. Keep in mind that all of the Corte-Reals were high degree in The Knights of Christ and likely would have had the holy relics called The Holy Grail. If anyone is interested in finding The Holy Grail they need to look in Newark, Ohio.
