      Although I am now retired from industry for the past five years, we have VERY similar backgrounds, experiences, and professional goals.  I am now teaching at the community college level and bringing this experience into the academic setting where we are applying organizational development principles to institutional effectiveness.  ...same theories and practices -- just a difference in semantics. 

      I'm sure you will find many of our discussions enlightening!
