Friday Nite will be a time for gathering, meeting, and chatting through the evening around a small fire to frighten away evil spirits that May day may break to a positive atmosphere.
Saturday will be filled with Celtic style athletic tournaments, feasting, music, and drinking to celebrate the day.
The dancing of the May Pole is a May Day Celtic custom practiced both within and outside of Paganism which will take place on Saturday, May 1st around noon.
The great bonfire will mark this time of purification and transition, heralding in the season in the hope of a good harvest later in the year, and be accompanied with ritual acts to protect the people from any harm by Otherworldly spirits. Saturday night after the main feast there will be just such a bonfire and drinking and enjoying friends.
Sunday will begin with a fire grilled breakfast and ritual of blessing and plenty for the coming year.
The feast is a potluck affair with all the food that we can all bring together.
