      organized much like the Altair - a cpu, memory
      address/control, input, output, memory, and readout board.
      Tri-state buffers were not used in this project, which
      actually complicates the construction. The i/o was
      accomplished using multiplexer IC's (which are not available
      now!).<br>At this time the construction of the Mark 8 as
      originally described would be quite an
