It is from the Middleboro, KY Daily News dated December 16, 1936.   • I Think the problem might be that the pictures did not have an extension placed on them when they were scanned. Some operating systems, browser and email systems must not be able to handle them without the .jpg or .gif or whatever extension. I assume that they did not show up in the email of those who could not find them. My iPad and iMac had no problem seeing them and saving them...
