Fellow DBers,
I emailed Steve Little at the Academy. He is on a trip to China right now, but wrote back to say that he is definately interested in DB and a collection of his stuff. We will be meeting when he returns to go through the process more fully. In the meantime, it might be helpful if we could come up with a list of the kinds of items that we all have to donate. Things that come to mind include:

Vernon pottery
Books
songs/songsheets
prints
paintings
letters
photographs
wood blocks of his images
???--please add items

Aloha, Michael

May I add my congratulations on the birth of your son? I see you
managed to find a moment to acquire a Glamour coffee pot ... in his
honor, of course? Do we get to see baby pix?

The only Joy item I have is the pair of shakers. Precious little of
the design appears on eBay, and none at shows.
Michael: This is good news for us, I believe. We need the particulars on it, regarding what they will do with the collection. I have the usual collection of DB material, much of what you listed. My exception is the Carmel Box, which contains some very one of a kind material, such as the original manuscript of the unpublished, "No Strings on Tomorrow". I also have DB's scrap book, probably put together by him and Edithe Hope Genee'. Lots of photo's and other ephemera in there also. I have original pieces of B/W art by DB. I am going through my material now and getting it listed again. Good work on the HHA contacts.....tj
