The Board of Directors of the Northern California Chapter of the American Research Center in Egypt
is offering three grants of $250 each to qualified students. The cutoff date for application is
December 31, 2013, with the grants to be awarded at our January 19, 2014 meeting on the U. C.

To qualify for this grant you must be a student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
that includes courses examining aspects of ancient, medieval, or modern Egypt, such as a BA in

Bay area to the Northern California border). Proof of enrollment may be required before the grant is
presented. Applicants are to give us a /brief/ summary of their area of study and how they will use
the grant. Grants will be awarded based on merit. In case of a tie, awards will be made by a random
      draw from the qualified applicants.

Students may apply by e-mail (Word, text file or .pdf) at arce-nc@...
<mailto:arce-nc@...> no later than 11:59 P.M., PST, December 31, 2013, or by mail postmarked
