- Jun 28, 2006Friends, Fans, and the like,
Yes, The A.J. Show has had some major changes as of late. Some of them
are no so good, but others show a lot of promise.
First off, A.J. has moved! Yes, after nearly 2 and-a-half decades of good
ole Midwest living, A.J. has moved across the country, all the way to
Seattle, WA. He has done this both for his media career, but also for love!
A.J. is now married (sorry ladiesand some guys?). In March, A.J. married
his college sweet heart, whom he fell in love with through the camera lens.
We like to introduce you to A.J.s wife, whose name is A.J.s wife (he tends
to do that with his family, its a privacy thing).
As far as A.J.s career, he already works at Salem Radio Seattle, where he
is the weekend Board Operator, controlling the board for five shows,
including several that not only broadcast both in the Seattle area and
online. Check out the shows that A.J. works on at
http://www.angelfire.com/il/thoughtsaj/ and scroll down to Salem Radio
Seattle Programs in the Media Links section.
In July, he will be starting as a TV Broadcast Technician at KOMO 4, the ABC
affiliate in Seattle. Hell back in the biz he loves, Television!
The A.J. Show is still airing in Peoria and the surrounding areas. The
show is still in syndication (in other words, reruns), but keep in mind that
A.J. Productions has produced over 80 episodes, including specials, so you
probably havent seen them all!
However, due to crew-member restraints and the fact A.J. lives 2 time zones
away, the show no loner airs in Tazewell county (the East Peoria area). The
only active crewmembers are A.J.s Dad and A.J.s Mom and between their 3
jobs and their involvement in the drama ministry at NWCC, they are only able
to get shows aired in Peoria. We hope that isnt the case for too long,
stay in touch for more info on that situation.
Some bad news is that Dork.com, the website that hosts The A.J. Show
Official Website, has seemingly gone down, possibly for good. This was
very unexpected for A.J. Productions, as we had no warning whatsoever that
this was going to happen. Dork.com itself had gone through numerous changes
over the past few years. Before the apparent collapse of Dork.com, we had
suspected it was experiencing both financial and technical problems.
As we wait and watch to see whether or not Dork.com is down for good, we are
starting to explore what options we can take to solve this predicament. We
are looking for a solution to this problem, but we still need your help!
Our original webmasters and web-designers have moved on and A.J. can only do
so much. Anyone that would like to give it a shot can help us build a whole
new site! We are also looking for anyone that may have some technical
expertise that can help or advise us in this matter.
To save the best for last, we are planning to start production in Seattle
for an all-new, all different The A.J. Show, well, not too different.
Once things become more settled, the show will go on. Also, A.J.s Dad has
been working on arduous process to get The A.J. Show on DVD! Keep in
touch and see what happens!
We always like to hear feedback, whether it be good or bad. We are also
looking for help with the show. So, if you want to try to help us in any
way or have comments and/or suggestions, just give us a reply!
Thanks for supporting us!
