Group Description

With the ever increasing cost of gasoline and diesel, many people want to get involved with producing their own fuel.

This group is for discussions involving the manufacture of fuel alcohol, to learn methods and materials used by members and to share ideas and experiences involved in manufacturing your own alcohol for fuel. Please do not discuss alcohol for consumption, there are other sites dedicated to that.

Please keep in mind that every still operation is going to be different and there are many bits and pieces of information listed here. You will have to build your own operation and recipes, so READ THE OLD POSTS for these bits and pieces BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS or use the search function when starting out your research. Then ask your questions when you come to a stumbling block.

Keep your language clean, your moderator is a Christian who will not tolerate foul language or spamming on this site. You may post links to sites that pertain to the discussion but as a moderator I may not allow them if I think they are not appropriate.

I would also ask that you keep your political and social views to yourself or post them on sites that allow that sort of thing. This is a techincal group and we want to keep it as such.

There is a filter available in the membership preferences section for you to recieve emails of each new post to this site or a digest of posts for the day, or no emails at all. You may change these settings any time you wish.

New members looking for recipes please check out our new Recipe folder located within the Files section. If you have a good recipe please feel free to post it there for others to see.
