Credited with holding the first regular reporting position on a daily
newspaper in Georgia. Wrote the music for "Georgia;" the state's official
song in 1922. One of the cofunders of the Women's Press Club of Georgia.

Born near Mobile, Alabama, in Bayou Coq d'Inde (Coden). Father was Dr.
      Thomas
Polk Moore and mother was Agusuta Ellis. Both were from Charles, S.C. and
      first cousins.

      Any information appreciated.
