Subject: [southernfolklorists] Chris Fullerton book information

      Here is the unabridged version:
The Friends of Rickwood published and released "Every Other Sunday: The
Story of the Birmingham Black Barons" to coincide with the 4th Annual
Rickwood Classic tribute to the Black Barons. Written by the late Chris
Fullerton, who worked with the AFA on some projects before his untimely
death in a car accident, the book traces the origins and evolution of
the team from 1920 to its demise in 1963. With it is a CD containing
excerpts of Black Baron interviews. It can be purchased directly from
the Friends of Rickwood at 205-458-8161, 2100 Morris Avenue, B'ham, AL
35203 or on-line from Amazon.com. Retail price is $25 per copy, with net
proceeds from book sales being shared by the Alabama Negro League
Players Association and the Friends of Rickwood.
