      Dear A.J.,

Do you need help finding all the leaves on your family tree on the internet?   Are you overwhelmed by too much information and not enough good information?   If so, plan to join archivist Nancy Dupree at the Alabama Department of Archives & History on Monday, 15 October 2012.
Dupree will demonstrate the best websites and on-line resources and focus on the most effective search strategies.  She will devote special attention to Ancestry.com and the wealth of on-line Alabama records now available at Ancestry.com, FamilySearch.org, the ADAH digital archives, and other digital resources.
Lunch is included in the cost of registration.  An optional tour of the Archives research room and storage areas will be offered following the workshop.  The research room is closed on Mondays, so research time will not be available on the day of the workshop.
Registration fees: (includes lunch, refreshments, & materials)
      General admission:     $40
Friends of the Archives members:  $30
