      **EXHIBIT: COMER HALL AND FAMILY
      Currently on display in the Special Collections and Archives Department is an exhibit on *COMER HALL AND FAMILY* celebrating the 100th. anniversary of the construction of Comer Hall on the Auburn University campus. The exhibit features numerous photographs plus captions concerning the College of Agriculture, Comer Hall, and the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. Informative captions provide background information on federal legislation relating to agriculture such as the Morrill Land-Grant College Act of 1862, the Hatch Experiment Station Act of 1887, and the Smith-Lever Act of 1914. The exhibit is located in the three large display cases immediately upon one*s left when entering the Special Collections and Archives Department which itself is located on the GROUND FLOOR of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.
