      On Jan. 8, writer Thomas Lakeman will present a program based on Nathaniel Hawthorne's classic horror story "The Birth-Mark" at 7 p.m. in Room 101 of Moorer Hall on campus. Lakeman's books, "The Shadow Catchers" and "Chillwater Cove" are available locally.
