Bert Neville wrote a book on the subject, "Steamboats on the Coosa River in
the Rome, Georgia-Gadsden-Greensport, Alabama Trades (1845-1920's)". It was
published by Selma Printing Service, Selma, Alabama, 1966, in an edition of
250 copies. It has 190 pages and many illustrations.
