      The General Galvez Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will
      meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Fire Mountain Restaurant in the
      Eastern Shore Centre at the Malbis exit of Interstate 10 in Spanish
      Fort.
      Shawn Mead Holland, a Baldwin County historian, will speak. Holland's
      publication, "The Journal of the Military Historian and Collector," has
      been circulated worldwide. Holland is a direct descendant of three of
      Gen. Galvez's soldiers: Jose Maura, Salvador Guerra and Manuel
      Dominique. She will discuss erecting a memorial honoring the men who
      fought, died and are buried in unknown graves at the "French Village of
      Mobile," which is now Spanish Fort.
