      Hello! This is just a reminder that paper proposals for the 2006 meeting
      of the Alabama Historical Assocation (Fairhope, April 20-23) are due by
      September 15th. Simply submit a one-page proposal and résumé by the 15th
      and then, if your proposal is selected for the meeting, take the next
      seven months to develop your 20-minute presentation. Presenting at the
      AHA meeting is a great way to connect to Alabama history and share your
      special interests and knowledge. Proposal submission details are below.

      AHA 2006 Meeting
      Call for Proposals

      The Alabama Historical Association is now accepting paper proposals for
      its 2006 Meeting in Fairhope, April 20-23. Proposals must include the
      following:

      * One-page abstract of a 20-minute presentation on an Alabama history
      topic

      * CV or résumé indicating author's academic affiliation (if any) and
      listing author's E-mail address, telephone # and postal address

      Proposals must be received by the AHA no later than
      September 15, 2005
