I am looking for information on Meta-analysis in Geostatistics, i.e. combining data from several sources to use in a geostatisitical program. Review of a recent article (Jessica Gurevith and Larry V. Hedges Ecology, 80(4), 1999 pp 1142-1149) suggests that geostatistics could resolve a number of the problems associated with, multiple sources of variation, non-independenc of observations and other problems that could defeat traditional parametric statistics. Is this a correct perceptio and is there any literature on this?
