As Oxygen's User Interface Designer you will:
Evangelize user-centered design principles on our software projects
Design and prototype Windows and web-based applications
Work on internal business solutions and new consumer products
Conceive multiple approaches to the design of new products
Collaborate with software developers, user representatives and
senior executives on the total user experience
Participate in field observations, interviews, surveys, focus
groups, and user task analysis
A minimum of 5 years work experience in a professional design
At least 3 years work experience designing interactive user
experiences for web and desktop applications
Ability to describe and model user-interactions through diagrams,
prototypes, and storyboards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with the software development life cycle
Mastery of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or equivalent tools
skills (DOM/AJAX) a strong plus
Knowledge of XAML, Avalon/WPF & Expression a plus
Recent experience with web based Microsoft technologies (.NET)
A passion for creating easy to use, visually appealing software
