      X2

Most of you will know ³Looking for a Wifey², the great collaboration between
JJC & 419 Squad and Maintain. The song and video also featured South
African singer Tony B and Nigerian rapper X2. (You can check out the words
      to X2¹s fantastic rap here: http://www.x2ayo.com/Lyrics-LFAW.htm )

X2 was born in Nigeria . At the age of two she moved to Ipswich, UK,
together with her older brother to live and school there for three years.
X2 later returned to Nigeria to absorb the language, dress sense, food,
Œextended family' and music culture of the Yoruba tribe moving from Shagamu
to Lagos, Lagos to Jos, and from Jos to Ibadan for her schooling. With 15
years of African culture tucked under her belt, X2 along with her family
relocated to the UK choosing to finally settle down in North London . X2 was
given the chance to explore the different values, norms and beliefs of her
new society while working, studying and engaging in different hobbies...like
football and music. X2's Œblend' comprises of an early African upbringing
and a mature European social education. After featuring on ³Looking for a
Wifey², X2 released her first solo single and video ³Girls Are Playing
Football² which is dedicated to the women¹s football club X2 plays for,
      Hendon WFC.

Watch out for news on her brand new single and video ³Born & Bred².
Featuring Tony B, the song was produced by JJC aka Skillz, who also directed
and edited the brilliant video (and watch out for JJC¹s cameo appearance in
      the video.)
