      First, a word to TABU LEY ROCHEREAU fans. Stern's music has just released a beautifully packaged 2-CD box set featuring a 44 page booklet and 29 tracks of Congo classics (both rare and famous) from the golden years of 1961 - 1977. Tabu Ley Rochereau -- "The Voice of Lightness" -- is available directly through Stern's music (973-447-2481) and retail outlets. We'll be doing a special on this release, Sunday 9/16 on Africa Kabisa.

      We'll be talking with Ken Braun from Stern's music about the release of the new 2-CD Tabu Ley Rochereau retrospective ("The Voice of Lightness"), discussing Rochereau's importance in Congolese music and, of course, featuring classic Rochereau tracks! So, tune in all you nostalgie lovers.
