I purchased an 8-pin to RJ45 modular microphone adapter and connected the HL-60 (that I had previously used with a Kenwood TS-440) to a Kenwood TM-V71A, and mykf6irk
I would assume the RL-1 would work the same as the HL-60. Hook it up and give it a try - and share the results with the group :)kf6irk
