Hi Tammie and Everyone,
I've never posted on the group but I wanted to comment on what
Tammie wrote. I had a different impression. When I see pictures of
Meg in public, "on a normal day", she seems to be enjoying being very
normal and doing ordinary things. (some of the pictures may show
annoyance when she is with her children and being spotted by
photographer though.) I think in regard to her appearances, she is
one star who does not define herself by what she wears nor how
fasionable she is. I think she has said that fashion is not something
she is aware of. I think that is one of the things I realy like about
Meg..... she is more a person than a fashion symbol. Her values are
very different than the average movie star. I know she has said that
she goes on retreat to India every year and has studied the Advaita
teacher, Balsekar. I think her focus is on the spiritual dimension.
She often says she likes being the "witness" which is a part of
Advaita teachings.
I think when in public she looks very real and not posed or all
made-up the way other actress are. I know she is serious about her
acting work but I don't think even that defines her. Who she is seems
to be more important to her than what she does.
Only my opinion and only my perceptions. Its just the way I sense
her.
