      Records Manager

      This individual will have overall responsibility for the daily management of departmental systems relating to records management, microfilm, driver’s licenses and evidence.

      Applicants must have 4 years supervisory experience of which 2 years in an office environment, experience in records computerization, optical imaging, microfilming and data processing.  Preference will be given to those with a bachelors degree in a related field; professional experience in records management and personnel supervision; and/or accredited as a Certified Records Manager by the Institute of Certified Records Managers . 

       Hiring salary is $50,000-$65,000/year, depending on experience.  Close date is 9/17/04 .

       

      Drug/Alcohol Counselor

      This full time position performs after-care substance abuse treatment & rehabilitative services for recently released inmates from the Ada County Jail.  Qualified applicants must have bachelor level education in a related field (Psychology, Social Science, Criminal Justice or Sociology) with credentials in chemical dependency (CADC) preferred. 

      Hiring salary is $16.00-$16.55/hour, depending on experience.  Working hours are 11am-8pm.  Close date is 8/31/04.

       

      Registered Nurse

      We are seeking a full time RNs to perform professional nursing work consisting of assessments, developing plans of care and monitoring client physical condition.   This position is located in our Security Services Division.  Individuals will provide general health care to inmates; administer treatments and medicines prescribed and supervised by the Medical Authority for patients; assist physician and mid-level providers at sick call in performing examinations, take histories, follow up on all orders given, and set up medications. 

      Applicants must have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and have one year of nursing experience in a public/community health setting such as a detention center, diagnostic center or mental hospital, accredited hospital, or equivalent experience in the community or public help. 

      Hiring salary is $21 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.  Typically, RNs work 4 10-hour shifts per week.   Close date is 8/31/04.
