The Ada County Sheriff's Office has posted 3 new career opportunities!
- Patrol Deputy: Applicants must be 21 years of age at the date of the written exam, and have 64 semester credits or have an Associates Degree from an accredited university; or 2 years prior full time experience in law enforcement with a recognized public safety agency as a commissioned or licensed law enforcement officer; or have served four years consecutive and full time military service. This position will close on August 7, 2002.
Chief Legal Advisor: This is a full time position that provides legal counsel, representation, and administrative services on all legal issues concerning law enforcement. The applicant must have: passed the Idaho State Bar Exam, be on call 24 hours a day, seven days per week, and be acceptable to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney for deputization as an Ada County deputy prosecuting attorney. This position will close on August 16, 2002.
Account Clerk II: This is a part time position, less than 20 hours per week with no benefits. This position performs important and technical accounting clerical work for the Sheriff's Office. Account Clerk II will close on August 2, 2002.
