Hi to everyone ! Ive survived this cult
festival. Metalpounder, Skyerider and I met after the
fantastic Exciter show - hey Flo, what happened to you - I
couldnt find the teletubbies ? Desaster and Destroyer 666
killed my neck with their old school Thrash/Black Metal,
of course Exciter did, too. Paul Di Anno played like
10 Maiden classics, but he cant sing the high vocal
parts anymore, well... .
Saxon made the eagle land
in front of us and Motrhead attacked us with a
bomber - cool effects ! Overkill played a set full of
old classics (Hammerhead !!!!) - live they are
allways killer, but the new albums are just weak.
Annihilator were good - you could see the fun in Jeffs eyes.
Death SS from Italy had a good show to watch, but their
music is not my cup of tee - too many modern-gothic
influences. W.A.S.P. did well, but Ive missed the animal
Chris Holmes badly ! Therion were quite good, but I
prefer their atmospheric sound on CD. Germanys old
Thrash heroes Exumer were heavy as hell at their
reunion-gig, the singer was insane. Tankard celebrated a big
party with their "Alcoholic Metal". The best bands of
Wacken 2001 were:
Jag Panzer - what a setlist, Harry
was the best singer of the festival.
Culprit -
these veterans from Seattle simply ruled, they did play
the songs from the Guilty As Charged LP like
gods.
Mgo De Oz - 8 men from Spain playing a mixture
between Metal and folk, PAAAARTYYY !!!!
This were my
3 days of Metal Mania. Over 20.000 freaks joined
the fest and surely will come back next year.

This is one of the first message that LIPS wrote to this board...Can
I return the question? Where are you LIPS? It's not because we want
you to answer to all little crazy messages we write, it's because in
my case: I worry.

Did he break his leg, his arm (No!!)? I don't even want to know about
what you do or think.....Just want to know that you're fine, if you
are okay and if Anvil still exist.

I've never heard about The Foundation's gig...I imagine all kind of
bad thing. Does he have a pneumonia? (secondary smoke yunno, hmmmm...)
A cold maybe? We all know that you work hard, but Dan wrote a message
to remind you some festivals...Why don't you react? Are you bored of
your own fanclub, man?

I would like to have your opinion on this Def Leppard's commercial
song...Do you hear the "Back in Black" riff and the "Rock of ages"
melody? "Am I going insane"?

Also, I would appreciate IF you could take a look at
www.anvil.here.ws and that you tell me if you find the colors
too "feminin". And, if it is....suggest me some ideas, it's easy to
change that.

You know that I'm really worry about you, dood? A truck accident? I
don't know cos you don't give any news...You were all friendly
posting here, and then you stopped suddenly. Did we offend you or
something like that?

tange :(
