revieuw of this great festival!
When Anvil started
their gig (10 minutes earlier than listed) I was still
outside (shame on me), so I could only hear "The Plenty
Of Power", but it rocks. They played also "Computer
Drone" from the new one and it was a killer, too.
"Smoking Green" is becoming an Anvil classic. The mighty
"Mothra" destroyed Japan again and Lips showed his fans
what else he could do with a dildo (maybe that little
thing is even more mighty than Mothra, eh Lips). After
a short, but great drum solo, it was time for
"Forged in fire" and ANVILS NATIONAL ANTHEM "Metal On
Metal". Well folks, what should I tell you about it? All
heads were banging, fist high in the air to salute the
power of Anvil. Thanks guys for another fantastic
performance. By the way what about a tour in good old germany?
(maybe with Exciter or Jag Panzer, oh god what a
package)
The Helstar-Gig was great too. James Rivera is a
killer-singer, but I'm not the big Helstar-Fan, so maybe Lemmy
will tell you more (between a beer or two, won't ya).
John Bush and his Saints were also fantastic, nothing
can go wrong, when you start with "March of the
saint" and "Can you deliver"!
And Dee "fucking"
Snider ruled the B.Y.H. "I wanna rock", You can't stop
rock'n'roll", I am (i'm me), "Leader of the pack", Under the
blade", classics, classics, classics. There are only a
few choosen to have the power and the magic to join
the whole metalworld in an audience. doesn't matter
if you prefer power-, speed-, black-, death- or
melodicmetal you stand there and bang your head.
Well, and
what about Priest and Megadeth. We were outside at the
camping area, had a few (!!!!!) beer and some good
cigars, the Ripper was at great voice and Dave Mustaine,
hm, can he really sing?
That's all from me
now!
Cheers to ya all!
The Skyerider

This is one of the first message that LIPS wrote to this board...Can
I return the question? Where are you LIPS? It's not because we want
you to answer to all little crazy messages we write, it's because in
my case: I worry.
Did he break his leg, his arm (No!!)? I don't even want to know about
what you do or think.....Just want to know that you're fine, if you
are okay and if Anvil still exist.
I've never heard about The Foundation's gig...I imagine all kind of
bad thing. Does he have a pneumonia? (secondary smoke yunno, hmmmm...)
A cold maybe? We all know that you work hard, but Dan wrote a message
to remind you some festivals...Why don't you react? Are you bored of
your own fanclub, man?
I would like to have your opinion on this Def Leppard's commercial
song...Do you hear the "Back in Black" riff and the "Rock of ages"
melody? "Am I going insane"?
Also, I would appreciate IF you could take a look at
www.anvil.here.ws and that you tell me if you find the colors
too "feminin". And, if it is....suggest me some ideas, it's easy to
You know that I'm really worry about you, dood? A truck accident? I
don't know cos you don't give any news...You were all friendly
posting here, and then you stopped suddenly. Did we offend you or
something like that?
