Internet brought many good things and
manyimprovised reporters. I mean that reading the "biggest metal
magazine", Ive been surprised of the description of the
Meldown. I knew it was not well organised (because Lips
told us) but its not a reason to spit at all the
bands. If the timing and the sound of that festival
wasnt appropriated, why being so condescending with
those bands? They had to make their show with bad
conditions and frustrations. The man wrote that "Smoking
green" was a kind of "not welcome song" in U.S. I
watched Clapton unplugged on TV last month, and
"americans" were still screaming "Cocaine!". I dont know,
but writing an article asks to show the two sides of
a thing. Theres an expression that I found funny:
"Old school bands". Its strange because in the 70,
it was "hard rock" and reporters respected old blues
men. Not only those who were rich and famous, but all
the pionners: those who inspired the new bands. A
GOOD reporter is supposed to be objective and not to
show his preferences (open minded). We have enough
with radio and publicity.

Its crazy, because
when I heard "Old school Marianne Faithful" singing
with Metallica, I tried to put a link between them and
Im still trying What for? She was an old junkie
living like a whore. "Smoking green" is very respectable
beside "Why dya do it". But as usual, critics,
publicity and record stores said it was "unique". Its
unique, because its the only song that makes squeeze my
teeth. But, "dont you touch Metallica", you all little
reporters cos they sell so much records

Each bands,
old school or not, has its own style, its own way to
be, its own was to move and its own essence. If all
the bands begins to follow a kind of "fashionable
acceptable metal", they re will be no more originality...and

This is one of the first message that LIPS wrote to this board...Can
I return the question? Where are you LIPS? It's not because we want
you to answer to all little crazy messages we write, it's because in
my case: I worry.

Did he break his leg, his arm (No!!)? I don't even want to know about
what you do or think.....Just want to know that you're fine, if you
are okay and if Anvil still exist.

I've never heard about The Foundation's gig...I imagine all kind of
bad thing. Does he have a pneumonia? (secondary smoke yunno, hmmmm...)
A cold maybe? We all know that you work hard, but Dan wrote a message
to remind you some festivals...Why don't you react? Are you bored of
your own fanclub, man?

I would like to have your opinion on this Def Leppard's commercial
song...Do you hear the "Back in Black" riff and the "Rock of ages"
melody? "Am I going insane"?

Also, I would appreciate IF you could take a look at
www.anvil.here.ws and that you tell me if you find the colors
too "feminin". And, if it is....suggest me some ideas, it's easy to
change that.

You know that I'm really worry about you, dood? A truck accident? I
don't know cos you don't give any news...You were all friendly
posting here, and then you stopped suddenly. Did we offend you or
something like that?

tange :(
