I've been following this forum for some time now, and have found the information and experiences invaluable!
I've been reading the Abramelin (Mathers & Dehn) as well as the 21st Century Mage on and off for the last year or so. My mind keeps coming back to it, and each time I find my interest deepening.
I've decided to undertake the Operation in the Easter of next year (also when I'm getting married). So I'm hoping that the 'first year of marriage' as well as starting after the Passover will get the Operation off to an optimal start.
My biggest problems are:
a) I live in a very, very small (one bedroom) London flat. Creating an altar outside is impossible, moving is not feasible financially (he has a special subsidised rent agreement).
However, we do have a small storage sort of room just outside the flat itself (with locking door). I was thinking of clearing this room out, cleaning and painting
it, and setting up an altar in here. It has no windows and it is very small, but it is private. I am also thinking of hanging a flower basket over the inside hall balcony (opposite the door to the storage room), and filling this with two inches of sand for the (admittedly tiny) terrace.
b) I will have to work/study for the duration, but fortunately I am a Registered Nurse studying Medicine (both professions I believe are allowed throughout?) . I am going to try my hardest to get time off for the end portion.
Any advice about these two problems in particular or even just opinions would be greatly appreciated. I am afraid to put off doing the Operation until I have better accomodation, as we are planning to have children in about three years and I imagine this would distract me completely.
Thanks to all,
