Group Description

ABATE (American Brotherhood Aimed Towards Education) is a motorcyclists' rights organization dedicated to preserving freedom of choice and freedom of the road, with emphasis on education and safety. Our members are active in programs for public awareness and motorcycle safety, and in supporting many types of charity events.

Included with an ABATE membership are a sew-on patch, membership card, and our monthly newsletter THE BAILING WIRE. There are no special requirements for joining aside from an interest in promoting motorcyclists' rights and safety with payment of appropriate fees.

For more information about ABATE and how to become a member, please go to: http://www.abatelocal32.org or www.abate.org

Local #32 currently meets at Sherwood Inn, 2988 Almaden Expy, San Jose, Ca 95125. Meetings start at 9:30 A.M.

(Some members get together informally on Friday nights at Big Dog's Grill, 1401 Foxworthy Ave--on the corner of Foxworthy and Cherry, San Jose, 95118. Folks start showing up around 6:00 PM)
