Always the same complaints from the reactionaries and the wealthy about "socialized" medicine, when there is one screw-up.  While conveniently ignoing the deaths and misery of some 30 or 40 million Americans who have no medical care -- while the rest of the civilized world, with "socialized" health care, fails here and there, but basically takes care of most people.  (The US has a higher infant mortality rate and a shorter life span than most civilized countries, and this is mostly due to the fact that so many people get no medical care.)

Yes bureaucrats do screw up.  Including bureaucrats in privatized medical programs (even when they are not ordered to maximize profits and to save money by letting people go without care!)

Of course the privatized medical system is great for the wealthy -- they can get whatever medical care they need or want, on demand, in the best facilities.  And screw everyone else who is not wealthy!

Note: I am not necessarily arguing for socialism -- which implies government, which I would abolish, as an Anarchist.  I am simply saying that the reactionary attacks on socialized medicine, citing poor care in a few cases, are bogus and disingenuous -- part of the BIG LIE propagated by the right wing that what is good for the wealthy is good for society -- it is not!

      "Eat the rich!"   Mwahahahaha!

      Peace,

      *L*

The future of The US healthcare system, once it has been appropriately socialized, as covered by the sycophantic media. Take a good look – its coming to your neighborhood soon!

      Sweet dreams :)
