Like I said, I’ll be in NC May 4-11, but my truck (the big blue one that took modules to Sacramento) would otherwise be parked at Union Station in LA. I could bring it to the OC before I leave, and it would be available to bring the trailer up and take it back . My truck would tow it as easily as the truck David brought to Del Mar (it is rated for 10,000 lbs). I have a hitch and it is all wired up.
It all depends on who can pick up and drive up the trailer from Davids abode, unless it gets driven up to Orange County at an earlier date. Since Henri needs transport, might be a good idea to rondezvous on the days before the event. And....same applies for taking down the show and loading the trailer on Sunday.
I just spoke to Stu. This year instead of two smaller tents, the north side of the lot will have one large, approximately 40x300' tent! He said there is a good possibility we could do 40xsomething, maybe even 40x40, if we do want to run the yard.
Thoughts? How big should I request? He needs an answer today/tomorrow.
Amy won't mind, as long as he keeps his stogies to himself :)
They are chomping at the bit for committment, so I will call Stu and make it so. The bigger the better. The parking lot at the Amtrak station is not that uneven (not at all) nor that unlevel (nothing of the order of Pomona, nor even when we did this show in Brea a few years back). I ask for more and more room each year. Last year was our first major bump in size (aside from the 15x30 tent that Bill, Lindley and I had to ourselves in Brea).

I'm sure that John will be down with that! The wife maybe not so much.

May have to pull the Winnebago on to John's front lawn and hook up to the sewer and water.
It is a great event, we agree. The problem is getting our folks to come up to it. My schedule is spotty so I don't know if I can make it, and other than you and Lindley, nobody else voiced a positive opinion. And you can't do this with only 2-3 people, anyway. I haven't sent in the official "no" reply, yet, just in case somebody else wants to step up and say yes.
Anyone? Anyone? Buehler?
