Coming from very humble beginnings, he has overcome odds time and again to become an internationally recognized athlete. Zach didn't let his cancer diagnosis and left leg amputation at 8 years old slow him down. With the unconditional love and support from family and friends, he pursued his dream with a fiery passion. That dream was to become a professional wrestling superstar. And in 2003, he signed a wrestling contract with the biggest wrestling company in the world: the World Wrestling Entertainment. He instantly became a household name and his story touched the lives of millions. But that was only the beginning of the journey. Now, as a father himself, he realizes his purpose is to spread a message of hope and love to children and anybody in need of a little inspiration throughout the world. As a child of a broken home, he recognizes that children, now more than ever, need positive influences and role models to look up to. Zach hopes to provide just that. Thank you for being part of the journey! Here's a short piece on Greg that won an emmy:Greg's story is great because he was inspired to become a wrestler when he saw Zach Gowen on TV with WWE.Contacts:Zach Gowen: http://www.facebook.com/zach.gowen.52?fref=tsGregory Iron: http://www.facebook.com/thehandicappedhero?fref=ts
